About the Role
Responsible for managing indoor sales activities for industrial automation products and solutions. This role involves preparing technical and commercial quotations, negotiating with clients, and ensuring successful deal execution. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical client requirements and commercial offers, striving to achieve sales targets while coordinating closely with engineering and procurement teams.
Main Responsibilities
- Quotation Preparation: Prepare and present accurate, professional technical and commercial quotations to clients, ensuring solutions align with their specific automation needs.
- Deal Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and conditions with clients to successfully close deals while maintaining company profitability.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to ensure maximum satisfaction and repeat business.
- Lead Follow-up: Proactively follow up on sales leads, RFQs (Requests for Quotes), and client inquiries to drive pipeline conversion.
- Target Achievement: Strive to achieve and exceed assigned sales targets, revenue goals, and specific KPIs.
- Cross-functional Coordination: Coordinate closely with engineering, procurement, and operations teams to ensure accurate technical offers and timely delivery.
- Market Awareness: Monitor industrial automation market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
- Reporting: Provide regular, structured reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and client feedback to management.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering is highly preferred).
- Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience in Industrial Automation Sales (or a strong academic background/internships in automation components).
- Technical Knowledge: Basic to solid technical and commercial understanding of industrial automation products and solutions (e.g., PLCs, VFDs, Scada, switchgear).
- Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal relationship skills.
- Attributes: High attention to detail, strong follow-up capabilities, and a proactive, goal-oriented attitude.
- Resilience: Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet sales targets.
