Project Overview

Batch Off – Voltalia, Portugal

This project involved the automation and electrical integration of a Batch Off line for Voltalia in Portugal, operating within the raw material industry. The project scope covered the complete control system development and machine electrical implementation to ensure reliable, efficient, and fully synchronized operation of the production process.

Our engineering team carried out the full PLC programming, developing the machine control logic, process sequencing, interlocks, and operational functionalities required for stable and safe production performance. In parallel, a user-friendly HMI application was developed to provide operators with clear process visualization, alarm handling, parameter adjustment, and real-time system monitoring.

The project also included complete inverters programming and commissioning, ensuring accurate motor control, speed synchronization, smooth operation, and optimized machine performance throughout the production cycle.

On the electrical installation side, the scope covered detailed cable labeling and identification, supporting easier troubleshooting, maintenance efficiency, and compliance with industrial standards. In addition, our team executed the complete machine wiring and field connections, ensuring proper integration between control panels, drives, sensors, motors, and machine components.

The final delivered solution provided a reliable and well-structured automation system with improved operational efficiency, maintainability, and seamless integration into the plant’s production environment.
